Knowledge Bowl

What is it?

Knowledge Bowl is a fun, fast-paced interscholastic quiz competition. Imagine the TV game show Jeopardy for teams rather than individuals. Each team consists of 5-6 players who work together to answer questions about science, history, math, music, literature, and current events. Here is an example of a competition: Knowledge Bowl Example

Who can join?

Knowledge Bowl is open to all 7th and 8th grade interested students.

How many competitions are there?

We will have 4 regular meets, 1 sub-regional meet, and 1 regional meet (for qualifying teams). Our season usually wraps up by winter break depending on weather.

When do we practice?

Practices will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday each week from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in room 205 and from 7:45 - 8:10 a.m. Monday and Thursday mornings. Students will only be required to attend 2 morning practices per week or 1 after school practice to participate in the meets. (No practice on non-school days, last day before a break, or on days of meets.) Practice times are subject to change after we meet as a team.
